attleej
Dear All, Can anyone tell me what the NSN for the coolant drain valve on the FV430 range power pack is? I have a suitable valve but I need the NSN for the correct one. John
andym
I'm not sure what you mean by the drain valve? If it's the tap at the bottom of the pack it's "2540-99-881-9381, TAP, DRAIN, br, 3/8in. BSP c/w nuts and nipples, A153F". Andy
attleej
Andy, That is precisely the information that I am after! For a bonus 10 points the VOSA / Vocab section? This has got to be the best forum of all. One of us knows the answer to everything. John

John Hi John, The company that supplied the tap under those numbers that Andy sent is shown below, no idea if they are still in business, but worth a try: BRASSFORM LTD UNIT E ROAD 31 HORTONWOOD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE, TF1 7GS UNITED KINGDOM Phone:01952 606998 Fax:01952 606923 regards, Richard
attleej
It is actually info for a project that the Tiffy course at SEME are doing. Currently you cannot drain the coolant from Bulldog without lifting the pack. All the old tech info & ISPLs have been binned so that they cannot determine the NSN of the tap. Hence they came to me and US. John
andym
I have all the FV430 AESPs that were released under my FoI request if you're interested. It would be highly amusing to give a copy back to MOD! 46MT1, by the way. Andy
