Great War truck
A friend has just pulled his AEC Matador out of his shed to look at for the first time in years and has noticed for the first time straps under the body on the left hand side. He assumes that they are for tools, but what tools should he have? Many thanks Tim (too)
Grasshopper
I believe they stored the winching skid plates under there. Solid tow bars also fit nicely.
Great War truck
Thanks for that. I will pass that on. Best regards Tim (too)
MilitantGraham
From memory, there should be straps and brackets for a pick and shovel on the left, behind the oil can bracket. The skid pans go at the the rear on either side held up by a J bolt.
