marvinthemartian
BST refers to the Ballast resistor, this shorts when you turn the ignition switch to enable full voltage to the coil when starting and SOL is for the starter solenoid, also in the same area should be OIL, and R. These wires go between the switchboard and the ignition junction box, usually fixed to the inlet manifold at the back of the engine.
robin craig
As I am sure you are aware you Ferret has a very different set up for a lot of the electrical as it moves back in the vehicle because of the conversion to the Canadian alternator set up. Rob Love over on MLU forum is a great asset as he is both ex RCEME and an ex Ferret owner himself. He is sometimes on here, I think he is CMPToolman or something like that. I have his email if you need it. R
