agmerlin
Hi folks, just picked up a couple of old army campbeds, the type with four sprung legs. Unfortunately one is heavily stained with something that smells suspiciously like diesel! Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning them? Ie can you stick em in a washing machine or is it best just to soak em in a tub? cheers andy
Tony B
I'd soack them in a tub using something that is sold to clean canvas horse rugs. Its designed to deal with very heavy soiling.

paulbrook
I seem to recall that you can bung them in a washing machine with something like "vanish" stain removing powder provided that you put them on the frame all stretched out before they dry. Dont ask me what temperature or programme though - I am a bloke!!
