Big John Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Hello to all, I'm from Blackburn, Lancashire originally but now living in Surrey. I've just read a few sample introductions and maybe I'm in the wrong place. I don't have a military vehicle and presently no plans to acquire any. My interest here is to research a WWII hospital ship called the HMHS Amarapoora. My Dad served on that ship from 1944-46. He's still around and has given me some information but I wondered if there was anyone else here with any information or interest in that particular vessel and the Far East voyages of 1944-47 in particular. I already have some first hand accounts, photographs and even some video footage of the ship in Singapore, 1945. Best wishes to everyone and their own particular interests.
