Smithy
Evening all, bit late putting this online but it's been a busy week so far with one thing and another. Anyhow, last weekend I managed to get up to Smallwood Vintage Rally for one day. The weather was great and it was good to see some different vehicles on show, obviously delighted to see a Gipsy that I hadn't seen in the flesh before whilst a Bedford QL was also new to me. Anyway on with the pictures, starting with some of the smaller stuff: Scott

Smithy
Finally, some of the larger items on display: The QL which I hadn't seen before. matador
Pity the organisers cant be bothered.................. The 109 ambulance was initialy refused entry. Umm Posted same time as my entry for 1945 AEC Matador RAF flat. They never even saw/remembered that or the SAE enclosed. Sod that they can boil their heads and pay me to come next time. Even then I will think about it....................... Come to Kelsall, Astle, Malpas etc to see it. John

matador
You are in principle absolutely correct. However these people need to get in perspective that no vehicles equals no repeat public attendance. That costs involved in restoration and maintenance are significant not withstanding the fuel costs in getting to shows. We do it for the public to enjoy ex ww2 vehicles as a part of their history and only wish common courtesy to be considered by the organizers in return......
