Mk3iain
I seem to remember (maybe not very well) some discussion way back about the rated carrying capacity of the 10-Ton light recovery trailer. I was reading through some of the bumf I have on these and found a mod instruction to modify the lashing chain anchorage points and strenghthen the lashing assemblies to allow safe carriage of 430 series vehicles up to a gross weight of 15.6 tons. Ref. U297/5 Mod instr No 6, Army Modification code K 00213. Trailer code: 3430.0735 and 3430.0215 for Brockhouse and Rubery Owen. There is no restriction mentioned when used with these loads so does that mean a "10-Tonn" trailer could actualy carry over 15 tons ???? Confused.
