Charawacky
Really nice picture, Looks like wooden wheels are fitted with a system by the The Warland Dual Rim Co.Ltd. 'the quickest, most efficient, and most economical of all tyre-change devices'
nz2
An interesting line up of trucks. I note the roof line is a fixed structure with only the side curtains removable. The RN lettering shows a hole in the archive we have in this forum. WW1 vehicles used by the naval. I take it these Fiats were pre war, to be replaced with British products latter. Chaindrive
This picture is in the book '100 YEARS OF FIAT TRUCKS' Information about this picture states that the trucks are Fiat model 2F.They have a carrying capacity of 1000kg. The picture of the Royal Navy trucks probably dates at around 1912. The 2F started production in mid to late 1911. The engine was rated at 20HP.
