fayjo56
Has anyone out there got any pics of 15cwt trucks in use as fire tenders or towing trailer pumps? I have seen a model of a Morris C8. I dont know if they were Army Fire Service or local unit modifications. Just wondered whats out there, I know I can rely on you guys! woa2
Try contacting Brian Baxter at the REME Museum at Arborfield. He has a personal interest in Fire Service vehicles and may be able to help.
Runflat
There's a reasonably well known picture of a Morris Commercial CS8 fire truck in Les Freathy's new book British Military Trucks of World War Two (published by Tankograd Publishing). A close-up of the same image also appears in Mike Conniford's old booklet Military Vehicle Data, Number Sixteen (published by Bellona).
