Weardale Railway Posted June 18, 2012 Share Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) Hi, Our War on the Line event is taking place on 14th & 15th July on the Weardale Railway. Pack your rations and board the train back to the 1940’s. Weapons demonstrations, military vehicles, memorabilia, period dress and fashion show plus stalls and musical entertainment. A 1940’s dance on Saturday evening (strictly tickets in advance). Train times may alter due to enemy action, please check before travelling! Events take place at Stanhope Station (County Durham), plus there's a military vehicle display at Bishop Auckland Station. We are delighted that The Northern World War II Association and Durham & Tees Valley Military Vehicle Trust are both participating in the event this year.
