Grasshopper
Playing with newly purchased CVRT drivers night sight- its been converted to run off AA batteries (can be reverted to vehicle 24V supply), so I can play with it at home! Have been spying on my cat... Am impressed that when I illuminate my mobile phone screen, it light up the bedroom (with blackout curtains drawn) like an arc light when viewed through the scope. Hate to think what this kit cost the MOD when new...

andym
There's got to be some EU legislation about spying on your cat without its permission ...... :-) Andy

TooTallMike
Try playing with the remote controls for TV, Hifi etc. They are all infra red too and it's surprising what an area they illuminate when you view through a scope. - MG
