Road to Victory

Well I've mentioned it elsewhere on this forum, and for me its always a good read and re-read. "THE ROAD to VICTORY" The untold story of the Red Ball Express. Its packed full of statistics and first hand accounts of those actually there. It at long last pays tribute to those guys that kept the war running.

Whether you're a Jimmy owner or not this is interesting reading and should be in everyones collection.

Well, I've said it here before, -try your local libary,......................

I thought I'd give it a go, on the off-chance that a copy maybe lurking on a shelf, somewhere in the southern half of england,..and what do you know, there is a copy, soft back, on the shelf,..............in Bexhill, !!!!!

approx 10 miles from where I was standing.

To say I was Gobsmacked was an understatment,......but it just goes to show,.....................libaries, I love them.
