Wrecksite - good website for the divers.

I get regular updates on this website. Its a huge database website detailing shipwrecks and wrecked aircraft etc. Thought it may of use to someone, interesting if only for a quick look.

1) POSITIONS

About 1.200 new wreck positions have been released in the Northern French coast.

 

2) CHARTS

a) Some 80 new charts have been inserted for Brazil and New Zealand.

b) All charts of the southcoast of the UK have been updated, especially the Channel Island charts

have been seriously enhanced. Also new charts were added in the UK. (see list below)

c) The Red Sea has now 15 new charts.(see list below)

d) the islands Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao have been added. (see list below)

 

3) FEATURES

a) people uploading their pictures can now edit them and graphically change them.

The site enables them to change brightness, contrast, resize, rotate, greyscale, sepia, crop borders, flip vertical and horizontal.

b) our advanced search engine has been seriously reworked and has more features now.

c) a new chart catalogue

d) members can send each other online messages

 

Despite our efforts, unfortunately, the French Hydrographic Office SHOM is still not willing

to make any progress with charts is France.
