Willyslancs
After finding a few head gaskets today , i was wondering which is the better one to use . Either the copper one or a gray composite looking one ? Cheers guys :cheesy:
willysmb
I'd go Copper... I'd say the Gray ones will not have a re-enforcing edge around the piston holes.. I have always stayed away from NOS ones and gone for a Good modern reproduction. ken

woa2
Personal experience on a Ford V8 says that the grey head gaskets tend to 'glue' the head on and make is virtually impossible to remove. Copper gaskets at least allow you to dismantle the engine again.
