Another Dodge to the collection

Just aquired another unusual Dodge to go with my military 1/2 tons, its of similar age and same 6 cylinder engine, perhaps not a model your familiar with. ..a Dodge "Luxury liner" , complete with heater ! it will make a nice Military staff car. Bought it at the disposal auction this week of 50 classic American cars and trucks that had been imported for the making of the forthcoming film "Captain America The first avenger"

Looks like a nice buy. I just went through the full auction list,were the cars generally going for the estimate or making more?.

As the paint is so good think leave it black...for now, put some magnetic panels with insignia and stars on?

Looks like a nice buy. I just went through the full auction list,were the cars generally going for the estimate or making more?.

Most were selling for the estimate, they all ran, and looked good as most had been resprayed and tarted up to use as a film prop, but it was hiding the fact that majority were original unrestored cars in pretty bad state underneath that needed lots of work to put them on the road, the auction description of each car was perhaps a little inacurete ! in most cases, the better cars went for more then estimate
