Stableboy Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 have close friends who both work for Christchurch Council - last time she was working round the clock as part of the response team , so she will have her hands full this time as major devestation in town and parts sealed off; have spoken to them today, both out for coffee when it kicked off, thankfully; many comms down... ArtistsRifles Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 A couple of mates from the old days moved down there - both based in the Christchurch area.. Heard from both this morning - all is well with them and not to worry. They say Christchurch is really pulling together, much the same as Brisbane did in their recent floods, to get things sorted and back in order.
