timbo
Robin Do you have any Belgian ones? I have a Belgian Scimitar waiting patiently in the queue. Not found many pictures of the Belgian ones though. Mine is 65241 in un white - I had thought ex Bosnia but understand they were also used in Somalia... Timbo
robin craig
I do have some reference material on Belgian ones. I will have to go have a look and get back to you, expect about 6 months at the rate I move. We have a Belgian Spartan in the collection I manage, awaiting a new engine. fesm_ndt
In Hong Kong once again, hoping to look around the junkyards, but in my boredom found these http://preservedtanks.com/Locations.aspx?LocationCategoryId=14950 http://preservedtanks.com/Profile.aspx?UniqueId=2187 So a surviving Hong Kong CVRT exists and dates of service
robin craig
Dear Mike, I had not seen your last two posts into this thread. Thank you for taking the time and confirming the legend that the place exists. No doubt nothing will get out of there of any value to us armour people. One day we should really meet! Thank you for taking the time and confirming the legend that the place exists. No doubt nothing will get out of there of any value to us armour people. One day we should really meet! R Tried to get up there today as was a day off, but no responses to phone calls or emails. Can see the place from Google earth so I will try to pester him some more and track him down as have to come back to here in a few weeks. I was half tempted to go take pictures of the Comet at the harbor defence museum but it appears that is the most interesting thing at the museum.
