Pete Ashby
Hello, I picked this tyre up in a lot of 900x16 i bought. Its a dunlop track grip re-manufactured into a tractor tyre, but what would it have been for? Ground workers used to fit 900x16 to the early four wheel drive JCB's, I was told by a tyre company that was the reason that RF 900x16 were always difficult to obtain and when they were available commercially in the 1990's were always at a premium as the plant guys would buy in bulk. Pete As previously mentioned, dump truck, but I used to fit them (well smaller ones) to my S1 Land-Rover, brilliant for going up steep hills on 4 x 4 trials. The Bedford Boys
Yeah, they aren't too bad. The only problem is lack of traction due to Bar Tread tyres. They climb hills like nobodys business if you can get them to stick to the surface! I would really like a set of SAT or Dunlop triple Traction tyres for the MW I use, but they're like hens teeth in NZ
