Smithy Posted November 19, 2010 Share Posted November 19, 2010 Today I went to RAF Cosford as it opened the doors to the Michael Beetham Conservation Centre. You can see where they work on the aircraft and chat to the guys (and girl) who help restore the exhibits. We had a good couple of hours looking around the different exhibits which included a Sopwith Dolphin, Hadley Page Hampden, Spitfire and of course the Wellington Bomber from Hendon. The next one is in March sometime, will post up details when I know more as its worth a visit. Great pics Smithy av you any pic's of the Hampden No sorry. At the moment all they really have is the cockpit shell and there were too many people around it to get a good enough picture.
