welshbayonetww2
Can anyone help me source some brake shoes and springs for my sankey trailer? The brakes are rod actuated and the only info i have is from the data plate which gives the vehicle number as 23FL98 chassis No 2343. I was told they were rear series 2 landrover shoes. They are identical in profile but i found they were too wide to fit the trailer drums. Any ideas? thanks, Doug
Chrisg
I think that they are Austin Champ items

timbo
Can anyone confirm if this is the case? I have once again restarted the restoration of my narrow track and need new shoes..? Thanks Timbo
johnhughes
If you can find champ shoes you'll be very lucky. it is far easier to take them to a brake relining specialist and getting them to bond on some 6mm lining. should cost about £40 j

welshbayonetww2
Thanks john Will have a look at this... Alternatively send them to the Champ man. He can supply shoe linings and rivet for DIY or he can reline them for you.
