What a great shame it is that you have to worry about things being thrown at your pride and joy every time you take it to a show. For those that haven't read the letter it come from a reader in Belfast who says both him and his colleagues have to be wary when they take their preserved vehicles out of Belfast in order to stop being attacked for driving in somthing green!!! After all there are still a minority of people there who are prepared to plant car bombs so I'm not sure throwing things at military vehicles, ex or otherwise, would strike them as unreasonable.. Maybe that will be the real test of peace in NI, when vehicle enthusiasts and more controversially re-enactors can travel around with impunity. Some way off yet I suspect..
