The Auck
Came across this the other day, well in the summer, and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Was told by owner that it was used for hauling things off the beaches. Owner may sell. Nigel
robin craig
Made by Roadles Traction who later on made the Roadless Traction tractors. For the right person quite desireable. Obvious Contract number there that someone will dig out im sure. There is a quite bit on these in the book about Roadless which I will see this weekend but likely someone else will beat me to it. Richard Farrant
They are actually called Orolo track units. I think the jib arrangement is not original. The RAF used a lot for them for recovering aircraft, amongst other uses.
