Joris
Since the recent troubles with my fuel system my fuel gauge is a bit off. When the tank is completely filled it only shows half full. Is there a way to fix this?
cripp
Not a dodge man but I found when my jeep fuel gauge was doing that it was the earth. Try holding a wire on the sender unit and grounding it. Worth a try at least.
CanadianScottish
Don't forget to check the earthing of the gauge too.
Enigma
Maybe the "vlotter" gets stuck in the tank.

sirhc
Stick your hand in the tank, move it up and down and see if the gauge moves. You might have to take it out and then move it, not sure how much room there is to get your hand in the tank on a Dodge.
CanadianScottish
Most Dodges have a removable plate in the load floor which gives access to the sender unit on the top of the tank.
Enigma
Most Dodges have a removable plate in the load floor which gives access to the sender unit on the top of the tank. If there is a accessplate its OK. My Dodge didn't have it and I removed several planks to get to the tank and to take out and cut a hole to make a plate. Swine of a job because there wasn't much room to unscrew the bolts. Succes
