0 Stormin
4 No. M12 Grade 8.8 (min). Length will vary depending on thickness of spreader plates either side. Somewhere between 75 and 100mm. Assuming you are fitting on a Lightweight Land Rover with standard military crossmember.

0 fv1609
If it is in fact for a LightWeight & you really want to go for orignality, you'll need: 4 off Bolt, machine, UNF, steel, hex head, zinc coated, 1/2 in. x 5 1/4 in. long 4 off Nut, plain, hexagon, UNF, steel, zinc coated, 1/2 in. If you're going imperial still make sure they are high tensile bolts and nuts. I'd suggest using spring washers or locknuts, if you want to avoid nylocs for authenticity, to make sure it doesn't come loose at any time. 0 jonylightweight
ok when i bought vehicle hitch was in carrier bag, there were only 3 bolts each having 2 nuts on each and 1 plate. the previous owner removed it and fitted tow bar with longer plate. 0 fv1609
The LtWt Series 3 IPC curiously doesn't specify the length for the bolts. I had to get that from the LtWT 2A IPC. They have to be that long to allow for: Packing piece - distance plate Plate, light towing, pintle - reinforcing plate Packing piece - reinforcing plate
