Also on further inspection, both sets of points were "pitted" exactly as you described and the engine note laboured and spat etc. under load, we are now purchasing 24v landy condenser to replace the original. Many thanks for your help Clive and for writing the paper that helped identify the fault.

Clive I did call round one day to see you and we had a little chat while you were cooking your soup, I said I would call back with said condenser from Stu's stolly well my apologies as due to the weather other things cam about and we never made it, but i managed to get a Megger and test the little blighter myself following your comprehensive instructions in Clive's Corner, I got a reading of 78 megohms when tested and belive that the said condenser is knackered, I would like your opinion please as I think the reading is too low as per your writings. Thanks

The pikeys were conspicuous by their absence this year, so I think that YES it probably is people within "our community" that are doing the stealing, you have to remember that in the midsts of 10,000 odd people there will be the bad apple/s, these do not worry about our working hard to buy what we need or want for our hobby, they are like parasites and the War and Peace show is like a microcosism of society nowadays. Welcome H I believe that you had the video backwards when filming the MV race to make sure your dad won, :? never mind next time :whistle: Not sure what the age limit is in the clubhouse though, you might have to collect bottles for a while

PKMT is the same machine gun as the PKM, just that the T stands for tank and has different mountings, tried to find one for my motorbike and sidecar.

Ah!!!!! Mark You then are the chappy Snapper and Zoomer could not wake up on the Friday morning of the HMVF photo shoot, as they needed the cherry picker to take some shots instead of a ladder :whistle:
