Carrying on the theme of MOT's, how good does the transfer box brake on a jeep have to be to pass, I have heard that they cannot test it correctly as it is not a hand brake as such but a transmission brake :?: is this correct

Welcome to you I like your choice of vehicle but do your homework, a pal of mine has one and spent the best part of 3 years doing work on it and has driven it 7 miles before the first breakdown, but they are nice vehicles so enjoy. Mark

I know that now but at the time I was told I took on trust that it was correct, it will not hapen again, the last thing I want is a ticket and fine for not having the correct docs.

I drove around this year in my jeep with a V112 :roll: but I am pretty sure it was illegal as there was not one thing that resembled what I had :shock: , but lots of people do it, I know 8)

I have not found anything anywhere like that, but when my son and I rode down to Normandy for the 60th anniversary on a russian bike and sidecar, I did try to lose him on the beaches :twisted: , but like a rusty bullet he kept turning up :?:

Well said Karoshi could not have put it better myself, if you like W&P that much then you put up with some discomforts, they did not have showers in the trenches :?:

The shower blocks are c~@p but I take my own shower, just a small little pressure pump and a 25 litre canister of hot and cold water, does for me you cant trust the services there.
