    Hi Jules , Some of the paint has been on a very long time !:blush: I'm thinking of writing a book about Scammell ownership and restoration " Fifty shades of green" !:nut:Given up worrying about all the different greens on Daisy and decided a blow over when she's complete should do the trick ! Hope you and the family are all well mate ! :-D

    Hi Degsy , I did catch the end of the programme and enjoyed the content very much but found Guy a little bit annoying (I am getting old and grumpy) but will defo watch the next one ! I know its a difficult thing to get right but thats why Fred is the legend in my book he just made it all seem so natural ! :-D

    Enjoyed the DUKW swimming but the rest was a bit staged as you say ! Not as dumbed down as the http://www.channel5.com/shows/classic-car-rescue/episodes/e-type all my favorite cars but staged in such an annoying way that I can't stand the programmes ! Oh I do miss Fred Dibnah ! :-D

    Just a few update photos showing the new locker body floor and a trial fit of the old main locker door ! Cleaned up the timber behind the spare wheel carrier and have now stripped the clutch for inspection as the next job is to get her engine running again I think :nut::nut::nut:! Replaced the bent self recovery pulley with one from a derelict vehicle that took a bit of Ray Mears bush craft to get to but was worth it as the old one was well bent ! Still having fun and enjoying "nearly" every second !

Tony , please don't scrap the Meadows from the Constructor until I've scavanged any serviceable goodies ! You can never have too many spares :nut:

    Any leads for a NOS flywheel for a Meadows petrol please ? While I have mine stripped I have noticed its quite badly cracked on the friction surface so would like to change it if one is available for reasonable money ! Regards Andy

    Just flicking through the tv channels as you do and found a Morecombe and Wise film "The magnificent two" 1967 at the very moment when a military convoy heads down the road ! A Dingo leading a few jeeps and then a Mk1 Pig and a G.S.:wow: ! Sadly the Pig was shot by Eric with a very old field gun :cry:! Wonder what happened to the vehicles after the filming ? :nut:
