  1. I think one of the reasons the Hop Farm works well is that with the different fields, trees, woods and river it has the feel of being camped in the country. I don't particularly enjoy spending too long on flat windy airfields and the like, or on concrete, not very cosy.
  2. Jack, what made me grin was that I was keeping as quiet as possible (hard for me!) hoping you would keep talking and let slip some really funny comments....or noises! But you're way too media savvy for amateurs like me. :-D
  3. I hear a rumour some one had been found drowned in the stream by the area, supposedly fell in the previous night. Hope its just a rumour. I had a couple of very young girls on a quad bike cut across in front of me from the right when I was turning left, they were turning into the track I was leaving and there was only a couple of feet in it! :shake: What were their parents thinking of?
  4. The hop farm, the field at the bottom of the line is now also used for W&P, the line is a exactly 1 mile long
  5. And also forum members 44k6 and coolpaul Runner Up: G Long for Austin K6 Runner Up: Paul Chenery for Scammell
  6. This chap was one of three former drivers of Steve's Militant recovery whilst in service, who turned up at different times, amazing! He drove it in Germany and reckoned it was the most reliable one they had, hence it's high mileage. He was last driving it on a UK motorway when the water pump went, it was then sold off. He came back with his family for photos, a bit emotional. Steve wasn't there to meet him, which was a shame.

  14. Too old for all this bashing and struggling, last puncture was a b**ger, as I've got a whole new set to put on I bought one of these NOS at Beltring, said to be the bogs dollocks by those who've used them on Explorer tyres. Works off your MV air tanks.
