  1. Is it a contraption to avoid sinking into soft ground ? Or arms for for holding the vehicle in a container ??
  2. I have just received a set of stencils from axholme, for my jimmy , they are excellent quality, came very quickly and they were very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Going to get some crate stencils next
  3. has anybody seen that big car yard in a place called Orange in the south of France ? Right by a major road, loads of stuff in there by the looks of it, I saw at least 2 diamond T wreckers as we flew past ..

  7. Could anyone advise me on mounting jerry cans behind the front bumper of a jimmy ? I have seen on some old photos that it was a common place to mount them. Was this a homemade type of fitting , or was there a special rack for this use ? thanks in advance
  8. My dad had one of these and in about 1965 he buried it in our ( then ) back garden on canvey island., and put a rockery on top.! I bet it's still there !
  9. Thank you for your reply , it's defiantly thick heavy grease. It's the split axle type. Just hope it's a case of over greasing. I am looking forward to getting under there,but it 5 inches of snow outside so it can wait !

  11. Hello, I am a newbie, so sorry if its a daft question., but I just got a GMC 353 dump truck, after an 80 round trip home, I noticed quite a lot of grease on the inside of both front tyres. Does this mean a seal has gone or would you think it's a case of over greasing .? thank you
