  1. Saw this fine Saracen at a Rally in Connecticut , USA back in the early 1990's no idea who owed it then or who might own it now .   2. that reminds me of this WWII Diamond T I saw in a towing company yard about 20yrs ago it had a much younger civilian cab grafted on to it, it still had the original dash and cab floor , most of the equipment was missing from the rear
  3. We will be looking forward to seeing the comparison with the replacement parts . At least he did try all the adjustments before going for the big overhaul ! Which now is clearly needed. :schocked: :shake: show how bad things can be and it was still moving although with problems.

  5. Yes indeed imported from Van Dams in Zeist . Thanks to the Dutch Military taking care of it so well I had the chance to own it .

  8. My wife who helped her Father raise pigs on a commercial scale when she was growing up , confirmes that the pigs were very time sensitive and would get used to a feeding schedule , and easily aggressive and vocal when not fed accordingly.
  9. Jack I m with you , I wasn't saying anything bad about lack of HVMF coverall's really . They will get their use soon I m sure , I was meaning the other ones that will never get near a dirty grease covered underside of a vehicle that wear out fits that are always clean...too clean and dare I say it on a family friendly site like this .....starched and pressed! :shake:. Even the best mechanic's need other helpers to fetch tools , lend a helping hand from time to time and to organize things and see that no ones doing something dangerous .

Eh? speak up My hearing 's not what it used to be . could have been all those loud concerts of my misspent youth or the time I worked in a tin knocking shop or the time spent with a chain saw ... never mind I m going driving in my MV pity, I cant hear how bad my shifting is was what ever now a days those cars honking behind me I barely hear em LOL good thing I m getting def This could be-------> You ....take Care of your hearing now ! once its gone its gone.

  15. OK its odd that the pieces are arranged about the hole and there are none visable in the rest of the embankment , he seems to have a man made object in his hand ......not a weapon , not an explosive , not a covert device . Has the image been doctored to hide other details?? I m out of idea's
  16. if hes not uncovering ordnance , might he be instead be planting it , antipersonnel perhaps or covert listening device?

  19. Clive I wonder if you might do a some reading on the vehicles that some of the members on that side of the pond have ? the link was interesting but only applied to latest equipment .So how will the older 40's -70's compare :computerterror:
