  1. Hi Guys,

    Iam one one of the guys who walked away from this ..just.Myself and my co driver jp were in convoy with my mate james who has a dodge command car.We had just returned from a weeks road trip which started in calais and took us across the battlefield sites of north east france,belgium ending up in arnhem.We were just on our way back from harwich,when, bang that was it.

    JP, has some fairly choice cuts and bruises and was airlifted to Romford hospital.He's ok and recovering at home.I broke my arm,messed up my right knee,suspected rib fractures and cuts and bruises.Turning into a rather deep shade of purple!

    All in all a lucky one, my poor jeep though.

    On a legal note,if there are any witnesses and any photos of the crash scene could you let me know.

    Cheers and thanks for your good wishes. Ricardo

    As all the others have said, the Jeep can be replaced, glad to hear you're both recovering well.

    Welcome to the forum as well :* :*

  2. Personally I'm glad there is a hosepipe ban, I wouldn't want to be out watering the garden in this weather!!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

  3. Pics please?...

    Although you can't see it now (been glorious all afternoon!) the grass is sodden!!!

  4. Naturally! This is England after all. :-D At 05:00 this morning the Ducks were wearing life jackets and hard hats, at 14:00 bone dry bright sunny and warm. So what's diffrent about this summer ? :whistle:
    same here Tony, I have hung the washing out this afternoon!!!!!! but I did have to paddle in the flooded garden to get to the washing line!!!!!

    Just hope the weather improves for show season.

  5. I have had to go through some flooding in the family car!!!!! Our back garden looks like a swamp, seem to be constantly on flood alert from environment agency being as we are on sea front. As said its the wettest drought ever!!!!

  6. Car crash. Yup, clamps are in there permanent. Look like spring compressors.

    OMG! Sounds awful. Dumb question, does it affect you at all? The neck is so delicate. I have hurt mine years ago, nothing like you, but I have to be so careful what I do now. No more head banging, no fairground rides, no cartwheels etc!
