  2. A mate of mine has just found a flight from stansted to Brno (62Km from show) for £134... now that sort of makes it a cheap week, as Beltring fuel bills are more than that in most vehicles these days... just browsing through the previous years photos has convinced me to go.....

  5. Hi Guys,This information was passed on to me by a goodfriend, to try and help you out with if it is yours or not... Matador Army RegistrationNumber 78 RD 97 was converted from 90 YY 00 it should have the chassis number08532321 this information should confirm if this matador is indeed 78 RD 97. The key card at Deepcutshould give the census number (which my friend doesn't have) and when it wassold which if it is this vehicle you already know...

  7. A friend of mine has been in touch about this event/showhappening from the 3rd to the 12th of August, it's held about 80Km north ofBratislava.   9. Im try to contact Rick who had or maybe still has a Pinzgauer a few years back... normally attends Beltring with others whos vehicles were in desert camo... anyone got any contact info for him?

I have just spoken to the great northern one aka Wally Dugan who has confirmed to me that the information above is incorrect, as he has all the post war registration no's and the contracts stating which vehicles were allocated the new type numbers starting YA through to FM which is possible the only copy left in existence or at least seen by him in the last 20 years, this one came to light approximately 3 years ago, and he is now currently waiting for 4 volumes containing war time census no's and the link to the post war numbers and in some cases the regiment who was using the vehicle up to the change over in 1949.

  18. Thanks for the info, I knew they were Turkish producedand obviously used by the Turkish military (just failed to post that info DOH!)there are some still in use by the troops here now...
