  2. Tony and Runflat are both on the same lines I think, Runflat seems to know more...
  3. Thought you would appreciate that Joris! I know the secret! Degsy is quite right with the SDKFZ233. Runflat is right but not quite there with his A/D answer. This did have a definite name and number and was used, any more ideas...
  4. I dont think it is Italian from what I remember, I think it is more North European.
  5. Very funny! I used to have one of those! Yep your right about the Mk8 and the FT17. Just number 1 to crack now...

  8. I'll do a few of these as it seems Joris is feeling very lonely this weekend! And it will keep the rest of us who arent going to W&P occupied! What are they! 1/2 marks will be given to country of origin, Ive no doubt GWT will know them right away as these are all pre 1939. And some I do know , some I dont ! 1 2 3 Last 2 should be fairly easy, the first may be a bit tricky:coffee:

  13. Number 1 is Dutch Tony , not French, not the right name for the vehicle though Alien. Numbers 2 and 4 fairly straightforward on the chassis, I thought Adrian might get them. Number 3, not sure it is a boarhound though open to suggestions. Hands up who said an atomic gun......Go and see the headmaster Mr Banner..
  14. Not Belgian Tony but not far off...
  15. Or, "Where shall we park up?" " On that flat bit by the round metal lump." "Will we be alright there?" "I said so didnt I..."

  17. Name this tank, not sure on the details of the pics, I will try and find out as there appears to be more than are pictured here. :coffee:
  18. Found these 2 pics, never seen them before. The lengths some people go to, to pick up a couple of souvenirs. Begs the question what did they think they were going to do with it? Its not as if you could wrap it up in brown paper and send it home! What is the tank on the back? The Sherman seems to have planks attached to the sides? Any theories?
  19. Interesting you should say prices are rising, I was wondering wether current economics would have an effect on the hobby. What sort of price are these commanding and how much, roughly would it cost to restore? Would they be an investment, labour of love or both?
