  1. Hi all iv been offerd a ww2 dated m1934 pyramidal tent, but there are a few concerns and the biggest one is the colour. The reason being that it is a very light colour now i dont know if this is down to the sunlight, but does anyone know if they made them in differnt shades I.E.early ones? and is there anyway i could get it back to the original darker colour if it is due to the sun light?. the other concern being that some of the stiching is coming away from from the seams on the side walls know is this repairable? and lastly the data tag has gone on it but you can see where it once was (above the door) so now that this is missing is there any way i can confirm it is ww2 and is there any way of telling if it is an early or late variant? many thanks Kyle

  6. Well i must say iam really looking forward to this years show as it looks like theres going to be a good few members going along which will be nice. I'm hopefully going to be there by about 5.30ish as im coming straight from work so see you all there. I have just been informed about the sad passing of Jacques Littlefield, For those that dont know who he was,he was the owner of the worlds biggest privately owned military vehicle collection with all sorts of vehicles and im sure you will agree this is a terribly sad passing for the MV world and the saddest thing of all is the fact that he didnt even get to see the completion of his panther tank restoration. Hi all as the title says this is a daft question and that is when ever i see pics of ww2 armour be it a ww2 photo or a photo taken at a show they all have big bundles of stuff on the side of the turret and i was wondering what that is so any help would be appreciated thanks very much.
