  4. I forgot to add when I do jump starts which is often, the Renault Master has a big battery and the Pajero is 2 x12volt heavy duty batteries(not 24v) I wouldnt like to try using a Golf too often:-D lucky he was passing by and never to be seen again:cool2: Christian
  5. Ive jumped a 24v from a 12 no problems, why do you need 2? Christian

  7. just been reading up on the general. From what I can make out his funeral was in London then he was moved to Newark then his body was dug up and moved to Poland in 93.

  10. thats just over 4m, So if it had a tilt you could strip it and it would be within the normal limits. Christian
  11. I enjoy visiting the area out of tourist season, you had nice weather for your trip:). Its raining here this week:( I like the photos you have put up, it makes you think about its history. Christian
  12. Out of interest what was your total height on the trailor? Christian

  14. In France fridge trailers run at 4.2m, as for convoi exceptional doing it yourself becareful that you have the right permits. A transporter on a backload will be cheaper for you. Christian
  15. If the vehicle has an MOT you could drive it, here the MOT is valid 2 years BUT if you sell the vehicle and the MOT is older than six months you need to re pass it. It is also up to a seller to pass the vehicle not the buyer! Christian
  16. Cracking photos there, I remember driving the AEC refuellers with a 4500gallon trailor hooked on the back Christian
  17. Under French law the vehicle cannot be moved under its own power and must be trailored to its MOT! the vehicle is in France for the moment. If you drive it here you are not insured!!
  18. I will 2nd that:) the only way is trade plate or on a loader. because if your vehicle will need tax, insurance and MOT. if no tax or MOT insurance no valid you risk getting the car seized. My friend just took a disco back no tax but insurance and mot. got the car taken away. Christian
  19. Ive just relisted my friends Dingo for sale at 15,500 euros which is more inline with the average prices of them, so hopefully there will be a buyer out there. http://www.hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?t=14607 hes got an old farm tractor for sale aswell, anyone know a site where i can post it up for sale? Christian
  20. I was on my way out in a rush and put the wrong year at lunchtime:sweat:the rest of the info is correct, a refuelling accident.

  22. You need to join the Key Publishing Forum there are guys there that can help you http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/index.php Christian
  23. WHATS NEW,,???:yay: Thats Brits taking the boat crossing, whats your problem?:stop: I cant see any immigriants hidden there and ive been looking at the photo for 30 minutes! Christian:)
  24. My friend put the Dingo up at that price having seen what they had been selling for elsewhere. and also the price reflects what it cost to restore it. I had bought a GMC once at 300euros complete to restore and only 10years ago jeeps at £500/£600, as Paulob1 points out once you start doing it up you cant afford to sell it at the same price you paid for it. And when you think Willy lancs only paid £1000 for his Dingo!!!! but that was 25 years ago:cool2: Christian
  25. You will not get the truck into Morocco if it is ex mil it will get seized at the port. If you really want to use a truck use a civil one like in the Dakar, but saying that you can drive all the way there in a 2 wheel drive!!. Your papers have to be spot on over there, once I took a UK plated Pajero with French MOT and Insurance and it was a nightmare to go over the borders. Christian
