[h=1]311 Jeep at Tyndall Field WWII[/h]This jeep was automated and ran on a track. A plane target was attached to the wood post and the student gunners would shoot at the moving target. ( April 16, 1942.)

Spotted today at the local scrap metal recycling place, a very nice Pinzgauer with army number plates on. The two guys with it were in desert camo (ironic as it was pouring down at the time ) .
