  1. Just thought i would mention this website, Derelict Places it has a very good collection of pill box articles .It makes interesting reading and viewing. :coffee:

  3. just seen an advert about a time team special mon 10th nov, 9 0 clock. Looks very interesting, its about ww1 tunnels found under fields .

  10. Found this locking fuel cap with its original box and two keys, the condition is fantastic . The back of the box tells you which vehicles it will fit and the years (mostly pre war upto 1941 ) would the military versions of these models have had this fitted ? :coffee:
  11. Was wondering what is the story behind these 2 jerry cans , the one on the top shelf next to the german ones (top right)is similar but has a raised cross on its side . i was told years ago they were for armoured vehicles not sure if this is right .
  12. We bought it from a Daimler car dealership that had it in their showroom . We made a silly cheap offer for it , months later we were told it was ours if we were still interested .!It use to be on display in the Blackpool winter gardens car show years ago.(think thats the only trip out it had before we had it ).Would be nice to see resto pics if it is the same guy

  15. Yes i think that was his name mate, we sold it ages ago , just wondered if we could get some pics of it .Could you ask him if he bought it from Blackpool ? cheers mate,We bought as it was in the pics , it originally came from a scrap yard in ireland .
  16. would any of our dutch comrades know where this Dingo is now? we sold it in the mid nineties to a gentleman from Holland who is a flower grower/seller, Would like some pictures of it now if poss. (it was dated 1943,unregistered and had a brand new roof ):tup:: sorry pictures arent brill!!

(Please excuse flash as its a pic of a pic) Anyone recognise this weapons carrier ? this picture was taken in the Blackpool tower circus ring,itwas used for a corporate event in the mid eighties. It had to be lifted round the corner of the ramp entrance by an Eaton fork lift truck under the rear!.

  20. After spending most of the day jammed under the dash,my father has now found that it would be better if all gauges are renewed.(now looking out for some )
