its a wartime jeep fitted postwar ,by specialist jeep dealers,like metamet uk with a wooden > woodie < estate body, and the canadien had a tailgate and only three doors,one drivers side, two on passenger side,unusual and very useful !
tom, a great interesting thread ,those s/plug holders are an extra on the classic beetles 50 s / 60 s now being repro ed so maybe try some vintage beetle shops ? Keep doing your great work....i traded my tilly many moons ago to tony oliver for a woody canadien jeep....!

thanks john thats a great help ! yes a photo would be good too! also do u have illus. of the way the carb sits on ,i have the metal base with the upright tube but it shows that a gasket has been fitted under it as well as on top...so whats the order it all fits together? > confused of london < cheers !!
hope u got your problem sorted, i also have a munga and i have a problem,not uncommon with these vehicles....! I have the foot accelerator, but nothing else between that and the carb.....would u have any clear photo s / drawings / diagrams to show whats missing and how it all connects up , from acc. Pedal to carb....... So i can get it running......hopefully ! Be grateful for any help u can give me......thanks,
help needed !! Urgent!! I have to move my munga this coming week, its parked outside while i wait for my council garage, now i have to get it running to move it,council are doing the road up.....few problems.....main one...i have no connection between foot pedal and carb ,whats missing at the foot pedal end? How does the pedal connect up to the carb? I have a p/copy manual but no pics of this.....can anybody post an idiot diagram or photo of the parts so i can see what it should look like?......hope you can help......
very nice! The spade looks like a swiss one? Not sure bout those leather straps, i have seen then secured by a rubber strap affair.......like to see some others for comparison....pictures and info are a little short on the ground.....!
anybody got correct info and pictures of the shovel and how it fixes ? some sites show the shovel as jeep style with handle.others show the euro style,straight handle all the way, any pictures in user handbooks ? or operators manuals ?.......need confirmation AND pictures.......
