  1. Nice thought Rick, a race prepped Churchill. I`m looking for a 400+bhp "V" of some sort to put in our M4A4, Cummins would be nice.
  2. They were just rolls of canvas I believe. Possibly kit bags.
  3. Thanks Clive, That helps narrow it down, I`ll try it on a few drums and see what fits.
  4. Found a couple of these today, they are approx 4`6" with 18" between collars. I can`t find any reference to them, any ideas?
  5. Somewhere in our paint store we have a tin of silver "aluminium flake" paint that was thought to be military contract.
  6. That makes sense, less weight fewer men and less to go wrong. The Stiffkey resembles a North Devon road accident, bits of hay turner, bent metal and bicycle parts! You`d think we`d have one by now.
  7. Ours has a tin cover over this part, must have been used manually?
  8. Here`s our "free range" rover? Maybe a lick of NATO green required.
  9. I`ve had a quick look and have 2 large fuel tanks, oil tank, side bins, rear rack for fuel tank/smoke bins, 10 foot steel snorkel, front track guards, lights, air start tanks and a few other bits.
  10. Hi John, I believe we have pretty much a full set of bins and tanks for a T54/55. Tim
  11. If you put that iron wheel on it and paint it green the geese would be half way to an armored vehicle.
  12. They rot away from the bottom and end up about 3"6` if you`re not careful, this one looks a bit "frilly" at the base. So yes, a bit pricey.
  13. Hmm, do they drink Buckfast wine at Buckfast Xmas?
  14. I always was a bit slow to catch on Dennis.
  15. Hello Nigel, did trigger get many presents from Malvern?
  16. Yes, ours was without gun/platform but otherwise 99%, though some was pattern only. One day we`ll get round to the shield, sights and try to figure out the roof/skirt set up from the poles and few fittings we have. I`ll try and find the pics but they are on film or paper or some funny thing.
  17. Nice pics, yes, took ages to open. M4A2? I guess the bulge on the left front of the hull covers there steering adaption.
  18. If you ever pass Devon you`re welcome to drop in and cast a measure over ours, the tin work was replaced and the gun/platform is not original to the chassis (No808) but the rest is original.
  19. I suspect now I`m on here dad will be a secret HMVF user .
  20. Hi Adrian, hah, we`ve had computers for ages silly, and now the village has elastrickery they are becoming more usefull! As for dad on forums, I don`t see a pessimistic old fart icon!? But we`ll work on that one. Tim
  21. Joined today, Keep hearing about HMVF so, Hello from Devon.
