Embargo preventing import of any Russian made parts & vehicles

As far as I'm aware from mates with Russian kit there are plenty of suppliers in former Soviet block nations (that are now in the EU) and also Ukraine too which is not a problem in sending parts to UK.

You may wish to name the other type of vehicle(s) you own or are interested in or is it just BRDM-2

My understanding was that it's anything manufactured in Russia regardless of where it's sold?

I read that Kalashnikov solved the problem by setting up a plant in the US!

I am looking for 9m113 missile launch tubes in particular. Easy to get in Ukraine for example, no idea if they can be imported.

One dealer told me that it would be breaking the sanctions and therefore not allowed.

I think sanctions are on the EXPORT from the EU and USA etc to Russia.

I have not read that anything being imported from Russia is being banned, except of course the Russians may have imposed a counter-embargo on the EU and USA etc.

Anything in the EU already may be shipped to the UK, with the previso that its not a weapon. How would 9m 113 missile launch tubes be treated if you happened to be stopped by the police on the way to an event. Are they like those smoke launchers on Ferret Armoured Cars where you need a firearms licence?

You can hire a complete deactivated 9M113 system from Russian Military.

From their site:-

BRITISH MARKET We can ship inert launchers, missiles, grenades, shells & mines to all customers in the UK aged 18 or over (NO LICENSE REQUIRED !). Please e-mail a proof of age - a picture of valid UK driving license or passport

Smoke dischargers DO NOT need a firearms licence. Search the forum for the discussions on this. They are a pyrotechnic device.

Thats good news as I remember some owners getting a bit worried. As for Russian Military I guess they might sell rather than hire out a 9m113

I'm after 9m113, not 9m111 but I will ask them what they can get...

I have one launch tube and it is deactivated so poses no problems if someone wants to inspect it. Technically these are not reloadable and therefore are spent ammo, but if you managed to find a live missile to put in it, I doubt you would worry about finding a used tube!
