    Went up with my mum to spectate and we got a ride around in a friends blue Range Rover. The Stolly looked great.

    Since Dad passed away we havn't really known what to do with it really. It's been sitting there with no work done to it since around 2002 unless anyone else has taken it on which we don't know of.

    Was a good day even though we nearly had an accident on the way home. We think we span on some oil. Fun times on the off road area as usual. Shame about the weather.

    Mum sent off a form earlier this week so should make it.

    I have the Isle Of Wight trip on video and it didn't go round the island. Must have slipped my mind. It had some problems on the beach and then they tried to tow it up the beach with the Centaur half track which then bogged in the shingle and almost threw a track.

    I think dad intended gradually restore it to running condition. Id have to ask some of his friends what he was planning with it. Sadly he passed away in 2004 and my mother really didn't know what to do with it so we just left it.

    We might be up for bringing the 101. I'll post this on the 101 forum if you like. Im not a member myself but the difflock forum has a large Unimog contingent so might be worth posting there also.
