  1. Came to spectate as the 101's clutch went on the saturday night. Was a good day though.
  2. Anyone going off here then. I heard the mine protected Bedford will be there again. And i know that a Ural is going.
  3. Hopeing to get the 101 to this event as it's for normal 4x4's to. More information on the AWDC website. Lookin forward to it.
  4. I was riding around in the back of the mineproof Bedford all day. It was a great day even though i got whacked in the face by a big branch. It was very cold. Got pics of your little water adventure BedfordRl.
  5. Unfortunatly were not takin the 101 as it has an oil leak. So im going with a friend to spectate. I'll still have the camera so smile.
  6. Make sure you bring a rope as you will probably be asked by 1 or 2 of the Unimog drivers for a tow. We had to tow one out of the lake last time.
  7. Depends how strict they are on the seatbelts. I was there riding around in the back of the Bedford MK mine truck at the last event and they wern't to bothered about that. Maybe the rules had to be changed.

  10. Anyone on here going . We might be going in the 101. Apparently there is going to be a Conquerer there from the R.E.M.E Museum.
  11. Just been out on the mountain bike gettin muddy over Hounslow Heath when on my way back along the A30 past Heathrow i got the shock of my life. There was a Mk1 sitting behind a stack of hay bales. Didn't stop to inquire as i was in a hurry.I think it had an Atlas Crane on the back. Looked in alright condition. Maybe the owner is gonna restore it.
  12. I love music and have a Fender Stratocaster replica n play on it all the time.We all love Land Rovers and off roading.Another big big passion is Football and my team is Aston Villa flying high this season. I also love cars.
  13. Where the hell is Peters Pit got it on a video but i have no idea where it was.Have many AWDC safari's on video. Long Valley,Salisbury plain, Slab common,Arena Essex and Bagshot Heath oh and not forgetting Bovington.
  14. Went off roading today in the 101.It was a brilliant day.There were 3 101's, a handfull of Lightweights and 109s.And a new pinzigaur that looked straight from the army.And a unimog. Those were the selection of military vehicles there today.
  15. My favoirate Land Rover based vehicle is the Centaur halftrack. I consider myself a very lucky boy to have been able to go to many shows in one of the beasts during the 90's.
  16. Had an old friend my dad's pop round the other night. His name is Terry Welch. Don't know if anyone knows him on here. He is a big Pioneer fan. He said he might have to sell some of his vehicles.
  17. 2 101's from the same housing estate. Thats handy isn't it. During Beltring.
  18. Were taking the 101 off roading on Saturday to Bordon with the All Wheel Drive Club. Gonna be an awesome day.
  19. Going over a hill in a Stalwart is scary. I remember dad doing the humps at Bagshot Heath. I was about 5 or 6 and i just remember being terrified.
  20. That Sally is a beauty. It woud be great to get them all together. That was my dads goal i think, to own the whole series.
