  3. youll have to get a hair cut then Jack ,youll never get that lot in an original dr helmet, you are right about one thing though we undoubtedly get some of the best views when the tanks are driving straight at you on roundabouts etc Nigel
  4. I think I probably speak for the other DRs as well as myself when I say there is nothing quite like the feeling of keeping the big stuff moving ,its what the bikes are for ,I dont enjoy riding on motorways and a quiet sunday round the lanes can get a bit boring but nipping past a sherman or jimmy in the convoy is another thing all together. The best buzz Ive had since riding with 143 other wartime bikes in Normandy in 2009 Nigel

  21. sorry thats no good ,not correct wartime camouflage pattern,it should be made in the same material as Denison smocks, apparently Keith has Jacks permission to remove any items of non conforming clothing
  22. check out the cios Jersey website ,many of their bunkers will be open liberation day ,the Palot steam museum is well worth a look as is Damian Hornes liberation museum in St Ouens bay, then theres the underground hospital in St Peters valley and the castles in St Helier and Gorey plus the fort at St Aubin as well as some excellent pubs and restaurants all over the island Nigel
