Transport - would have been ideal

Bumming through evilbay tonight I came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-IVECO-180-E23-PLANT-WAGON-LOW-MILEAGE-HIAB-090_W0QQitemZ120407391400QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Commercial_Trucks?hash=item120407391400&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A7|39%3A1|240%3A1308

Would have been the ideal solution to transporting either the Stalwart or the OT about. Might have needed a bit of work to fit deck width extensions for the OT but even with that it would have been a good answer to a thorny problem.

Only issue is I couldn't drive the damned thing due to the restrictions because of the epilepsy. Could drive it empty as a private HGV but not laden.

Bang goes a good idea.......

It can still be registered as private HGV if it's only carrying your load and not for hire or reward.

Don't see that it makes any difference as either way you'll need a class C licence to drive it. I guess you've already got that to be driving your Stalwart on the road.
