D21 Looks oldfashioned because of the fixed undercarriage but in the hands of a good pilot very dangerous, it could turn inside the circle of a ME 109. During the fighting one D 21 shot down a ME but was damaged in a pursuit. The pilot had to bail so jettisoned the canopy which struck a ME which crashed.
