Papav66
As this show takes place when the MVT would normally have their National Show at Kemble (now August Bank Holiday) I'm hoping I might see a few more of you from here, so here is the booking form for MV's. cheers Paul Wartime in the Vale form.pdf
pugracer2
Hi Paul, excuse my ignorance but this would be my first show. Is third party liability insurance what i would have with re-enactor insurance or just my normal vehicle cover? Alex
Papav66
Hello Alex, and welcome to the forum. If your Jeep is insured with someone like Premium Choice (Roadsure) or Footman James you will be covered for liability at shows, similar to re-enactors insurance. If you just have a standard policy for social & domestic use you might need to speak with your insurer or change to one of these specialist companies. Prior to the show in June there is the Easter show on the same site if you are about. cheers Paul

thedawnpatrol
Yep, I plan a ride down with the family from the 'North Cotswolds' hopefully in my Wot2. Will fill out the forms next week. Jules
Papav66
Having spoken with Phil Plumb I think there will be quite a few Champs here as many already had the Kemble Champ Camp in the diary. And Jules, there might be another Wot2 though the owner is poorly at the moment.
Papav66
Bob has also purchased these railway carriages which look period. Possibly 1940's or earlier, but we think they were used for transporting cattle. Salvaged from Long Masrton airfield we intend to use use them for housing displays, one will be used for the Morrison shelter display creating a dinning room environment with the other available to be used by a re-enactment group. But as you can see they do need a fair amount of time & money spent on them.
Degsy
Just scrapped a couple of those whilst doing renovations on a neighbouring farm, they were originally general goods wagons and many years ago I converted them into calf rearing pens for the guy who farmed there late sixties/early seventies.
