I think all you need is Adobe Reader which is freely available to download of t'internet. You won't be able to alter anything unless you buy one of the proper all singing, all dancing Adobe programes, but it should let you view files.

I could of course be entirely wrong and it does sound a little surprising as on most occasions if you download a PDF it will ask you if you want to download Adobe Reader (if you don't already have it).

Hope this helps

Easier to:

1) Open the doc in Adobe Reader,

2) Hit the "Print Screen" key (usually up around the top right side of the keyboard),

3) Open your image prgram - Paint if nothing else

4) In Paint click on Edit - Paste; this pastes the screen shot from Step 1 into Paint

5) Use the "Select" tool (button with a dotted square outline on it) to cover the area you want to show.

6) Click on Edit - Cut;

5) Click on File - New Image

8) Click on Edit - Paste to paste cut section into new image

9) Click on File - save,

Thats it - job done!!!
