oldscaley Posted February 5 Share Posted February 5 Hello all, joining the forum to further educate myself and help research into my fathers/grandfathers careers (should have asked when dad was still around) Grandfather was RA 1926-31 & 39-45, waiting for records from TNA to further that. Dad was REME 1953 - 75 , ultimately as a Vehicles Artificer. ( I remember the last couple of postings, but a lot before my time) just got his service record which is a gold mine of data, but of course leads to more questions about units, places, operations, etc, and have only a few photos hoping the collective wisdom, knowledge (hopefully REME veterans, can help fill in my large knowledge gaps), If you see any new posts/threads that seem random and ignorant, bear with me :-), there is a purpose, honest.
