Royal42
Hello all, I am building a kit of a Land Rover to 1:35 scale which will represent a vehicle I used in Norway. I would like to find out what the components of a 27ft mast consisted of, including the isolator unit, and their measurements. The mast is connected to a flat metal plate which is clamped to the rear left bumper unit and also clamped to the rear left canopy frame. Any information and advice on this would be appreciated. cheers, Mike Edited October 21, 2023 by Royal42 mast length corrected
Chris Suslowicz
27-ft Telescopic Mast. NSN: 5985-99-102-8303 RACAL MA638 Lightweight(*) telescopic mast. * - This is an outright lie. (Also, the rigging kit is heavier than the mast.) I'm just wondering how deeply my masts are buried, they may require emptying the shed. I don't have the vehicle mounting kit unfortunately. Chris.

The mounting I’ve got one on the way as never seen one before ( as said in the other post) They’re a very handy mast to be honest, but never thought I’d be sticking it on the back of the lightweight until I seen your pics.
