I'm a long way off wiring up my vehicle but one of my friends pointed out if you were driving convoy with just diff lights on and you were to brake surely the vehicles would light up like a beacon 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NickAbbott Posted August 4, 2023 Share Posted August 4, 2023 My Matador has a dashboard switch wired into the brake light circuit - it just breaks the circuit so the brake lights don't come on when the pedal is pressed, and I'd assumed it was for convoy use. It's not on the wiring diagram though, so don't know if it was a common thing, and I don't think it's something that would have been done after it left the military!
